James Sard

James Sard has spent his entire career as a writer, editor, journalist and publicist. A graduate of the Newhouse School of Journalism at Syracuse University, he began his career in Washington D.C. covering consumer electronics. After exposure to Capitol Hill reporting on telecom issues, he fled to New York City to cover home audio and video for one of the world’s largest magazine groups. Having served lengthy sentences at nearly every position on the editorial masthead covering fields he loves, his experiences eventually led him towards corporate communications, where he continues to consult. The son of an engineer and a librarian, Sard has turned his background in technical fields and a love of storytelling into a quest to write the kind of stories he would like to read: Tales that entertain while instilling a sense of wonder about the world. Trading always limited free time on two-wheeled conveyances for required investments at the keyboard, his goal is to craft enduring stories that help us envision our place in the universe, providing hope via the best aspects of human nature.
